The CAUDRON watch is a replica of the pilots' wrist watches used in the 1930s, with a handsome leather band and 46mm stainless steel case (water-resistant to three atmospheres) housing a rugged Unitas 6498 movement, developed from the 1920s pocket watches and improved in the 1950s.
The large black face and luminous hands afford exceptional low-light visibility, and the watch can run 48 hours between windings. The extra-large winding knob is easy to use, even while wearing gloves.
The polished, rhodium-plated, jeweled movement is assembled in Alle, Switzerland by master watchmakers, in a factory where fine watches have been made for over a hundred years. |
